June 21, 5: Descendants of longtime owner, the late Joe Stewart, reopened the livestock market after a brief closure, and held their first auction in more than a decade. For the past decade, Milton had leased the property off Depot Street to Christiansburg businessman Phillip Nolen and his wife, Lori, who ran the weekly stock sales.
